• Designed and built the backend from scratch: a complex risk analysis domain model, a role model based on the org structure, integrations with the client's corporate systems over REST and SOAP.
• Implemented replication of models from the parent company to subsidiaries: inheritance of the base model and linked chains with each unit's local changes applied on top.
• Developed modules for incident investigations, cross-unit aggregation of indicators and change auditing of domain objects.
• Migrated the domain layer from Hibernate to JetBrains Exposed, optimized heavy SQL views and queries, kept the stack up to date (up to Spring Boot 3.4 and Kotlin 2.1).

Developer in a large distributed team; lead engineer on payments for Brazil, working in English. Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Gateway, PostgreSQL + PostGIS, AWS, Kubernetes.

• Integrated Brazilian payment providers: card binding, two-step payments (deposit hold and capture), PIX instant payments, 3-D Secure, full and partial refunds.
• Built three microservices from scratch: a payment webhook routing gateway (Spring Cloud Gateway), a dynamic tariff coefficients service and a regulatory reporting export to city authorities over SFTP.
• Extended the core monolith: integrated dynamic pricing (by geozones and scoring) and tariff A/B tests, enforced scooter speed limits when entering restricted zones.
• Prepared the migration of geodata from JSONB to PostGIS and built a multithreaded migrator with ID-range partitioning and resume after failure.
• Worked on the support chat service over WebSocket via AWS API Gateway: attachments and geolocation, system messages, metrics.

Tech lead at project start: architecture from scratch, key modules and code review. Kotlin, Spring Boot 3, Exposed, PostgreSQL / Oracle / MS SQL, Keycloak, AWS S3.

• Designed the service foundation with support for three DBMSs (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL) for cloud and on-prem delivery, set up CI/CD and deployed a Keycloak IdP; built a custom Keycloak SPI for seamless migration of users with legacy password hashes.
• Implemented a hierarchical multi-tenant role model with permission inheritance across the sub-tenant tree, shipment tracking and scheduled manifest generation.

Designed the service architecture at the start and built key modules in the backend team. Kotlin, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Exposed, ShedLock, MinIO, Firebase, BigQuery.

• Designed the architecture of a new service (a modular monolith with BFF modules for web, mobile app, admin panel and external systems) to migrate off a legacy backend without pausing development.
• Built the admin and external-systems APIs, the application and offer lifecycle, personal data visibility rules and asynchronous push and email notifications with retries (Firebase, ShedLock).
• Built an hourly data export to BigQuery for analytics and a production database anonymization tool for the staging environment.

• Designed and built the service from scratch; integrated it with the airline's services: authentication, loyalty program (earning and redeeming miles), payment gateway, email.
• Integrated with a fulfillment provider: order creation, delivery options and cost calculation, batch product sync, delivery statuses.
• Pricing with miles, promo codes, VAT and delivery; stock reservation protected against race conditions; publishing order events to Kafka with ordering guarantees.

• Built the backend of a point-of-sale lending project for a retail chain: SOAP API for the partner, application processing services and a fully asynchronous Kafka-based flow (including windowed event joins with Kafka Streams / KTable).
• Wrote wrappers over the bank's internal SOAP services that other teams later reused.
